I’m currently a fifth year Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University, working under the advisorship of Professor Jianqing Fan. Before that, I graduated from Duke University in 2017 with a B.A. in mathematics and a minor in Finance and Literature. Since the pandemic, I’ve been working from my apartment in Chelsea, NYC.
My research interest largely involves the application of statistical and machine learning methodologies to a spectrum of problems that require a tailored and nuanced approach, which often involves rethinking how those methodologies are traditionally implemented. So far I have explored the fields of biostatistics, finance, and right now, I have been focusing on political science.
